APPLEBY REAL ESTATE was established as a family company in 1963 with Bob and
Isabel Appleby as the proprietors. Bob, the son of 1916 Bayswater Pioneers
Albert and Alice Appleby was raised in the Knox municipality of Melbourne as
well as Isabel. Both felt passionate in their pursuit of providing a real estate
service to their "home" community. Innovative in their approach to building the
business they became market leaders as developers of strata factory sites, land
subdivision and the sale of new and established residential property. This lead
to the offshoot of numerous professional business opportunities that formed the
backbone of the current organisation.
